Waiting on Wednesday - PNW Edition @catwinters

Waiting on Wednesday
is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine
that showcases upcoming releases
that people are very much anticipating.

Here on Novels, News and Notes we are a Pacific Northwest Blog so we will be sticking with our most anticipated NW releases. Makes sense right?

Plus there are a TON of wonderful upcoming releases that we are excited for.

After reading this author's 2013 Debut 'In The Shadow of Blackbirds', Mel's anticipation is high for her 2nd Young Adult book:

The Cure For Dreaming by Cat Winters

Sadly there is no cover photo available quite yet....

The Cure for Dreaming
by Cat Winters

Amulet Books

In 1900 Portland, Oregon, seventeen-year-old Olivia Mead’s father hires a talented young stage hypnotist to cure the girl of rebellious, unfeminine thoughts…but the cure doesn’t go quite as planned.

(Official synopsis not yet available.)

I quite enjoyed Cat's debut 'In The Shadow of Blackbirds' and honestly I can't imagine waiting months for this book.  Of course maybe I will get lucky and find an ARC on Edelweiss but I will definitely be pre-ordering this book!  If you haven't read Cat's debut I highly recommend you check it out immediately.  You will be blown away by the smell of onions and you may be interested to know how the photos you will read about actually happen.  The ending is a surprise and I loved it!  I will totally be re-reading it before 'The Cure For Dreaming' releases so that I can enjoy all of Cat's writing at once.  And no, The Cure for Dreaming is NOT a sequel.  They are stand alone novels.

Check out Cat Winters at her Website and Goodreads.
